Tips & Tricks

Fire Crystal planning and practical alliance habits.

A practical cheat sheet for INT members. The Fire Crystal planner is now Tip 01, followed by the existing tactical and account-management tips.

◆
Golden ruleWhen this page and the live game panel disagree, the live panel wins. Costs, prerequisites, event scoring and timers can change with patches or state progression.

Before Event

Check timer, shield status, stamina, marches, buffs and whether the event scores the item you want to spend.

During Event

Follow R4/R5 calls, join quickly, avoid drama and keep communication short.

After Event

Heal by batches, review reports, save screenshots and record what should improve next time.

Before Offline

Shield if a danger window is active, recall marches if needed and do not leave troops exposed.

Fire Crystal Planner — Furnace 30 to FC5

Starting at Furnace level 30, Fire Crystal progression is built in five construction stages per tier. This planner helps members check how far their saved crystals can take them during SVS, then shows the cost of each complete tier, every building, resources and base construction time.

Camp note: Infantry, Lancer and Marksman camps use the same planning table. Multiply the cumulative camp total by 3 to plan all three camps: 7,695 Fire Crystals and 119d 06:00 base time.

How to read the time column: the listed value is the base construction time for all five stages of that tier. It is also the approximate amount of building speedups required if no bonuses are applied. State buffs, research, Chief bonuses, alliance help and other reductions make the actual timer lower.
02

Do not spend rare items randomly

Save speedups, hero shards, chief gear materials, charms, widgets, essence stones, pet items and large resource packs until the current event panel confirms that they score.

  • Check the active event task before spending.
  • If the item is rare and today does not score it, wait.
  • Use the Guides and Events pages when unsure.
03

Furnace first, but do not block yourself

Furnace progression opens account systems and higher caps, but every Furnace upgrade has building and resource requirements. Prepare required buildings before you start expensive timers.

  • Plan 1–2 Furnace levels ahead.
  • Keep Embassy, Infirmary, Research Center and troop camps current.
  • Do not drain all resources right before SVS / HoC / KoI.
04

Batch healing saves speedups

When many troops are wounded, heal in smaller batches instead of healing everything at once. Alliance helps can finish each small batch much faster than one huge heal.

  • Start around 1 hour of healing per batch.
  • Adjust by your Embassy help duration and how many members are online.
  • During war, coordinate batch healing in alliance chat.
05

Shield when offline during danger windows

Unshielded cities create points for enemies during SVS, KE/BIA and hostile state windows. If you are not actively fighting or defending, shield before leaving the game.

  • Use a longer shield if you will sleep or work.
  • Do not gather during unsafe windows unless leadership says it is allowed.
  • Check NAP / State 4272 rules before attacking anyone.
06

Promote old troops

Lower-tier troops lose value as your state grows. When you unlock higher tiers, promote old troops instead of letting weak troops inflate power without real battle value.

  • Promote toward your highest available troop tier.
  • Keep training queues active.
  • Follow event scoring windows for training and promotions when possible.
07

Join rallies correctly

For alliance events, joining fast and following rally calls matters more than random solo action. Bad joins, wrong heroes or late marches reduce total alliance performance.

  • Do not solo when rally-only is called.
  • Join marked rallies quickly.
  • Follow rally captain or R4 instructions for troop type and heroes.
08

Bear Trap / Bear Hunt is damage discipline

Bear is a short alliance damage window. The event is activated by leadership and lasts around 30 minutes, so preparation before activation matters.

  • Be online before the start.
  • Use buffs and proper marches if called.
  • Join rallies fast; do not waste the window changing formations repeatedly.
09

Crazy Joe is not normal defense

Crazy Joe rewards coordinated reinforcements. Public guides describe HQ waves around 10 and 20, and many alliances avoid healing during waves because it can reduce scoring efficiency.

  • Send reinforcements to online players.
  • Recall for HQ waves when leadership calls.
  • Do not panic heal during waves unless R4/R5 says so.
10

SVS preparation is timing, not panic

SVS rewards the state that prepares better. The preparation phase is about spending the right item on the right day and following state command before battle.

  • Check the live State of Power panel daily.
  • Save speedups, shards, gear items and resources before preparation.
  • Use the dedicated /svs page for State 4272 instructions.
11

Chief Gear and Charms are long-term army buffs

Chief Gear unlocks around Furnace 22 and Chief Charms around Furnace 25. They are expensive systems, so use materials with event timing and a balanced upgrade plan.

  • Do not push one piece far ahead if balanced upgrades give better value.
  • Remember that gear pieces buff different troop types.
  • Check calculators and tables before large upgrades.
12

Hero and gear materials should follow your main use

Invest first in heroes and gear you actually use in Arena, rallies, Expedition, defense and events. Scattering premium materials across too many heroes slows real progress.

  • Focus a main set before spreading upgrades.
  • Save mastery and exclusive materials for key heroes.
  • Review lineups after losses instead of blaming luck.
13

Embassy and Alliance Help are never optional

Alliance Help reduces timers and Embassy level affects help capacity and reinforcements. A weak Embassy hurts your healing, defense and event readiness.

  • Click Help whenever it appears.
  • Upgrade Embassy regularly.
  • Reinforce teammates when called.
14

Do not create drama during live events

During battle windows, argument is a delay. Follow calls first, collect screenshots if something is wrong, and solve the issue after the event.

  • No arguing during rally windows.
  • Send screenshots to leadership after the operation.
  • If a command is unclear, ask one short question.
15

Use screenshots as evidence, not accusations

Screenshots help leaders solve conflicts and confirm mistakes. Use them for facts: target, timer, player name, coordinates, rally marker and event panel.

  • Do not crop away important information.
  • Send context with the screenshot.
  • Avoid public blame unless leadership asks for a public warning.
16

Daily routine beats random activity

Small daily actions build a stronger account over time: help, research, building, training, gathering, intel, rallies and event checks.

  • Open event panels before using items.
  • Keep queues running.
  • Ask for help before a large upgrade if unsure.

Letting old troops sit foreverPromote lower-tier troops when higher tiers are available.

Verification note
Fire Crystal figures were reorganized from the supplied reference tables and cross-checked against the Whiteout Survival Wiki building requirement pages for the Furnace, Embassy, Command Center and troop camps. Resource figures are rounded as displayed by the source. Always confirm the live in-game upgrade panel before spending.
